We explain master data imports in this article. It is divided into two sections:
- Importing master data for residential properties
- Importing master data for commercial properties
In order to ensure that each app user is able to see all content intended for that specific
user, the following rules need to be defined during implementation:
- Which content should be visible to which units?
- Which Service Center requests/inquiries should be assigned to which unit?
Master data stored in the system, either through ERP integration or manual data entry,
lays the foundation for this. This data can then be viewed through the Cockpit at a later
point in time.
ERP integration
If your implementation project also includes an ERP integration, congratulations are in
order: You don’t have to manually prepare any data, all you have to do is work with your
implementation specialists and professional services to manage ERP integration.
No ERP integration
If your master data administration is done manually, on the other hand, we’d like to ask
that you be extremely meticulous: Check the data, enter changes immediately and
perform regular updates to ensure that the data is as useful as possible for your app.
In both cases
In both cases, it’s now time to gather information for User Administration and
Tenant Company Administration.
Importing master data for residential properties
Relevant master data is entered for every unit. This data includes unique
identification numbers (unit IDs), address information and other content. These are
important and make it possible to allocate Service Center requests/inquiries to a unique
unit ID, for example. The master data is also relevant for future modifications,
tenant changes, new tenants, etc.
The example below shows the structure used for an app intended for a single property.
The structure used for an app intended for multiple properties (portfolio)
looks like this:
