Benefits and features of the Schweizer Parcel Box

The Schweizer Parcel Box simplifies the receipt and dispatch of packages, regardless of your presence. Delivery and return are possible with major parcel service providers.

The core functions of the Schweizer Parcel Box are:

  • Receiving packages
  • Sending packages
  • Unlocking the front door

How can I use the parcel box?

To use the Schweizer Parcel Box, simply activate the micro-app: click on the micro-app within the Allthings app and accept the privacy policy. The micro-app is now active, and your name appears on the parcel box, allowing logistics providers, such as Swiss Post, to deposit packages.

PIN management

There are two types of PINs:

  1. Your personal PIN, which you use to collect and send packages from parcel service providers.
  2. A neighborhood PIN, which allows you to place items in a compartment of the parcel box for your neighbors or other service providers.

You manage and create these PINs using the PIN management feature within the micro-app.

Receiving a package

Once a logistics provider, such as Swiss Post, has deposited a package, you will receive an email and can collect your package using your personal PIN. If the parcel box is not emptied after two reminders, the parcel box administrator will be informed to empty and release the box.

Sending a package / pick@home

Thanks to the pick@home function, packages can be sent directly from the parcel box. The shipment must be registered online with Swiss Post and placed in the parcel compartment. The mail carrier receives a notification that a package is ready for pickup and will collect it on their next route. No additional costs are incurred beyond the usual postage.

  1. Press the home button next to your name (search for your name using the search field (magnifying glass icon) or scroll through the name list).
  2. Enter your personal PIN (4 to 6 digits) and confirm with the checkmark.
  3. The resident menu opens. Press the pick@home icon.
  4. In the parcel compartment selection menu, choose the desired compartment size, and the corresponding parcel compartment opens automatically.
  5. Enter the last 4 digits of the pick@home shipping label, repeat to confirm, and confirm the entry with the checkmark.

Unlocking the front door

After entering the PIN, you can unlock the front door by pressing the key symbol.
