As soon as a quote request is received, all responsible persons are informed by email. To manage the request, please open the "Request a Quote & Hide Price" app. Then open the "Quote Submissions" section. Here you will find an overview of all your quote requests and their status.
If you want to edit a quote, please click on the green eye. Then add the price and the message to the customer. This cannot be preset. We recommend having a template with all the necessary information at hand. Save via "Save Edit".
Now an email is sent to the customer informing him about the given price. The customer can reply to this email and confirm the proposed price. If he doesn't confirm the price, you can use the same principle to set a new price or exchange emails until you agree on a price. If you do not come to a conclusion, you can always click on "Reject" in the quote.
Once the price is set, please go to "Convert to Draft Order". This will set the status to "Approved" and send the quote to Shopify. There is no direct link to Shopify orders at "Storefiy". For this reason, a so-called "draft order" is created. You can find this in Shopify under "Orders" and then the menu item "Drafts".
Open your draft to add a custom item with the agreed price. You can name it after the purchased product. Please make sure to check or uncheck "This product requires shipping".
Now go to "Send Invoice", select the desired sender, and add a message if you like.
The buyer will now be notified about the invoice by email and can settle the outstanding amount under the "Complete your purchase" button. Once the payment is made, the order will be completed. This will now be listed to you under "Orders" and you can mark it as "Executed" after the performance date.
