Edit and delete files / folders
- Hover your mouse over the file.
- Several options will appear:
- ✏️ Edit title
- 🗑️ Delete file/folder
- 📁 Add folder
- 📄 Upload file
Caution: Deleting a folder will also delete all the documents contained within it.
Bulk deletion
If you have the "Bulk delete documents" permission for a specific channel, you will see the "Delete all documents" button.
Important: When using this function, all files within that channel will be deleted.
Limitations
There are still a few things you should keep in mind when using "Documents".
- Files with the same name can be imported without them being visually differentiated to indicate the duplication (for example 'File' vs. 'File (1)'). The files are currently still shown as bearing the exact same name.
- It is not yet possible to store a document in multiple languages in such a way that, if the language settings are changed, the document is only displayed in the selected language. All documents are visible to app users in all languages.
