Prerequisites

  • D-U-N-S number
    → If you don't have one yet, you can find out how to apply for one here.
  • A phone number and an email address where Google Play users can contact you
  • A phone number and email address for Google to contact you
  • An official document to verify your identity (e.g. passport, ID card, driver's license)
  • An official document to verify your organization

Important

Make sure that all information and documents are up-to-date and correct to ensure a smooth verification process.

How to verify your Google Play Console account

Step 1: Registration and basic information

Sign in to the Google Play Console with your Google Account and enter basic company information.

  2. If you have several apps, select the one for which you want to make the settings.
    → The setting must be made individually for each app.

Step 2: Organization account, D-U-N-S number and payment profile

  1. Click on Home and navigate to the banner at the top of the page in the Google Play Console.
  2. Click Get started now.
  3. Under Account type, select the Organization account option12.png11.png
  4. Click on Create or select payment profile.

  5. If you have not yet created a payment profile, create a new one.9.png
  6. Enter the D-U-N-S number of your company.8.png

Step 3: Verify the company identity

  1. Review and confirm the information. Ensure that the company name and address exactly match the information on Dun & Bradstreet.7.png6.png
  2. Link your payment profile to your organization.
  3. Enter additional information about your organization.4.png3.png

Step 4: Submit documents for confirmation

Submit necessary documents such as an excerpt from the commercial register, operating license or certificate of incorporation to confirm the company name and address.

Step 5: Verification by Google

Google checks the submitted information. This process can take some time.

Check the current status regularly. You should be notified by email after successful verification.

Step 6: Completing the verification process

After successful verification, you can complete your account and manage your apps.
