What is the Pinboard and how do I create a post?
The Pinboard allows you to reach your neighborhood or your team in the area.
A Pinboard post is quickly created:
- Click on "What's on your mind?" and write your post.
- Select for whom in your neighborhood the post should be visible.
- You can also add #Themes and an image or video to make your post more complete and easier to find.
- Your post is now created!
Set visibility
You have the options to define the visibility of your post. This allows you to specify that your post is only visible to certain residents.
- At my address only: If you select this option, the post will only be visible to residents of your direct residential building. These are typically the people who share the same building entrance with you.
- In my area: If you select this option, the post will be published throughout your entire property or within the entire app, meaning in all houses or apartments within the residential complex or housing estate that are under the same management.
- Further visibilities: Your property management can define further visibilities that are made available to you.
Edit or delete posts
To edit your Pinboard post, go to the post and click on the three dots in the top right. You can now edit your post, correct a typo. Alternatively, you can also select the "Delete" option to remove your post from the Pinboard.
React to posts
You can react to posts with "Like" or leave a comment – unless this function was deactivated when the post was created. To do this, simply click the corresponding buttons.
Search for Pinboard posts
With the search function, you can specifically search for posts and Themes on the Pinboard. Enter keywords into the search bar to find relevant posts.
Additional filter functions:
- Important posts: Only display posts from your management that have been marked as important by them.
- Property management: Only display posts from your management.
- Liked: Only display posts that you have marked with "Liked".
- #Themes: Only display posts that include the selected Themes.
Note: If you enter #Garden in the search bar, only posts with exactly this Theme will be displayed – not posts that contain, for example, the word "gardening".
Themes
Themes are categories that can be assigned to a post on the Pinboard. They help to structure content and make it specifically discoverable.
For example, if you search for the Theme #Garden, all posts tagged with this Theme will be displayed.
Notes
- Themes are currently only available in one language.
- Themes are defined by your property management.
- Existing Themes can be edited or deleted by your property management.
Community Rules
Please remember to always adhere to the Community Rules you agreed to as part of our Terms of Use. Please ensure your content is communicated in a friendly and constructive manner.
If you have questions or suggestions regarding your apartment, please communicate directly with your property management via the Service Point and not via the Pinboard.
Due to your agreement to our Terms of Use, it is our responsibility, in consultation with your property management, to delete inappropriate content from the Pinboard if it violates our Community Rules.
Report posts
If you notice that a post violates our Community Rules, you have the option to report it via the three dots in the top right so that your property management can react as quickly as possible. Detailed instructions can be found here.
Block user posts
If you no longer wish to see posts from certain residents, you have the option to block that person's posts via the three dots in the top right . All posts from this person will then be hidden from you.
