If you want to remove your account from the platform, you can perform the deactivation yourself via the app.
Deactivation of Community account and portal access
Important notes:
- The deactivation removes your access, but means no complete data deletion.
- If you still have an upcoming booking, please cancel it first. The deactivation can only be performed after the booking date or after a successful cancellation.
- The option for deactivation is only shown in the settings if you do not have administration permissions for the Cockpit.
How does the deactivation work?
- Log into the App.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Tap on Deactivate Community account and portal access.
- Confirm the deactivation by entering your Email address and your Password.
After a successful process, the deactivation of your Community account and portal access is being processed and you will be automatically logged out. You will receive a confirmation via email.
What happens after the deactivation?
- If you proceed with the deactivation, all your posts in the app will also be removed.
- However, your communication history will be retained by your property management.
- You will be logged out automatically and will no longer have access to this app. If you wish to use the app again, please contact your property management.
Complete deletion of your data
For a complete deletion of your data, you must contact your property management directly.
Why is the property management responsible for this?
The app is provided by your property management. Your account is directly linked to your tenancy or ownership. Since this link is used to manage contracts and other matters, the data sovereignty over your account data lies with the property management.
How do I request the complete deletion of my data?
- Contact your property management directly and request the complete deletion of your personal data.
- After successful deletion, you will receive a confirmation from your property management or from Allthings.
What happens to my data after deletion?
Your data will be processed according to the applicable data protection laws. After deletion, your data will either be anonymized or completely removed, unless legal retention requirements mandate temporary storage.
What happens if I want to return after a deletion?
After a deletion, your access is not restored automatically for security and data protection reasons – not even if your data is sent again by your property management. Your personal data remains anonymised.
If you would like to use the platform again later, please contact your property management. They can arrange a new onboarding for you.
