In the app, you can personalize your profile, manage important contact details, and control your notifications.
Accessing the settings
- Open the app.
- Tap on the app menu.
- Select Settings at the bottom left.
Account and profile
In this section, you manage your basic identity and contact data:
- Profile picture: Upload a new photo or change your current picture.
- Name: Update your first and last name. Please use your real name here.
- Optional nickname: Enter a nickname if you do not want to appear with your real name in the neighborhood. The nickname replaces your name in all public areas of the app.
Manage phone number and email
Add your phone number so your property management can reach you quickly if there are urgent questions. Using the Add new phone number button, you can also enter multiple numbers (e.g., private or business). You will also see your current email address in this section, which you use to log into the app. If your data is stored normally, you can adjust it directly here.
In addition to this login email address, you can store further email addresses — see the Additional email addresses section.
Additional email addresses
In the Additional email addresses section, you can store further email addresses in addition to the email address you use to log in.
Additional email addresses help to correctly assign your requests: if you write to your property management from your private or work address, for example, your request is automatically assigned to your profile thanks to the stored address.
Add an email address
- Tap Add new e-mail address.
- In the Type field, choose a category: Private, Work, or Other.
- Enter the E-mail address.
- Confirm with Add.
You can edit existing addresses at any time using the pencil icon or delete them using the trash icon. Your property management can also add or adjust additional addresses for you.
What additional email addresses are used for — and what they are not:
- Assigning requests: requests you send from a stored address are automatically assigned to your profile.
- No notifications: no emails are sent to additional addresses (e.g. no summaries or notifications about pinboard posts). You continue to receive these only at your login email address.
- No login: logging in to the app is not possible with additional addresses. Login is still done exclusively via your login email address.
Change imported data (lock icon)
If your email address or phone number is marked with a lock icon, your property management uses a connected ERP system. This data cannot be overwritten directly. However, you can easily request a change from within the app:
- Click directly on the locked Email address or Phone number in the settings.
- Select the Request data change button.
- Tap on any category if necessary. Note: The form for your request will then be automatically pre-filled with the correct subject and text.
- Enter your new contact details in the text field and click Send. The property management will then update the data for you in the system.
Profile text
Use the Profile text to introduce yourself to the neighborhood in a few friendly sentences. This text is visible to other people when they view your profile in the app.
Privacy
- Blocked users: View which users you have muted and unblock them if necessary.
- Access by external services: Check which connected micro-apps have access to your profile. You can view the terms of use here and revoke granted access rights at any time.
More settings
- Password: Change your current password to protect your account.
- Invite more people to the app: Invite flatmates or family members and manage their access.
- Language: Change the display language of the app. (Tip: If the language does not switch immediately, briefly select another language and then switch back to the desired one).
- Email summary: Control your email notifications ("Daily", "Weekly", or "Never"). Important: Mandatory messages from the property management cannot be deactivated.
- Log out: Log out of the app securely.
