Tips for designing pinboard posts
An appealing pinboard post often determines in the first 3–5 seconds whether users will keep reading or scroll past. The following tips will help you optimize your post:
Use images effectively
- Image cropping: Choose a crop that clearly conveys your message. Avoid unclear or uninteresting visuals.
- Text on images: Design images so that important text is visible, even without clicking on the post.
Event posts – must-have information:
- Purpose: What is the reason for the event?
- Date: When will it take place?
- Time: What time does it start?
- Dress code: Is specific attire required?
- Cost: Is there an entry fee?
- Reservations: If necessary, provide contact information for reservations (email, phone number, website).
Contest posts – key questions:
- Participation requirements: What do users need to do?
- Prize: What can they win?
- Duration: How long does the contest run?
- Winner selection: When and how will the winner be determined?
- Participation frequency: How often can someone participate?
- Conditions: What are the requirements?
With these tips and guidelines, your pinboard will become an active and helpful space for the community!
