What is Allthings Insights?
Allthings Insights shows you, in the management portal (Cockpit), at a glance how your apps are being used: registrations and addressability of your residents, key figures from issue management, booking analytics, as well as overviews of registration codes, app features, users, and team members. The KPI tabs also give you an overview of connected units, solutions, and the trend of key metrics over time. You can find the exact definition of every metric in the separate article Insights | Metric Definitions.
How is Insights structured?
Insights is divided into nine tabs:
- Registrations & Addressability: registrations and addressability of your residents, split by residential and commercial.
- Issue management: tickets created and closed, plus average processing times, per category.
- Bookings: confirmed bookings and revenue per bookable asset.
- Registration codes: overview of all registration codes issued, with usage status and the associated unit, property, and app.
- App features: overview of all features enabled in your apps (e.g. Marketplace, Concierge, Documents), including their label in the enabled languages.
- Residents (App): overview of all users of your apps, split by residential and commercial, including registration status, language, and last login.
- Team members (Cockpit): overview of all team members with access to your apps in Cockpit, including their assigned permissions and channels.
- KPIs: current metrics on connected units, enabled connectors, and published and private solutions.
- Hist. KPIs: monthly trend of key metrics (e.g. active team members, users, units) over the past months.
The tabs Registration codes, App features, Residents (App), Team members (Cockpit), KPIs, and Hist. KPIs only show data for the apps covered by your "Insights | View analytics" permission. If your permission is limited to a property or building, you'll see the data for the entire associated app.
You can find the exact definitions of all metrics in the article Insights | Metric Definitions.
Required permissions
To access Allthings Insights, you need the "Insights | View analytics" permission. This permission can currently only be granted by Allthings. Please contact your responsible contact person for this. You can find an overview of all permissions here.
Filtering, grouping, and exporting data
On the right side of each tab, you'll find filters that let you narrow down the data shown, including by tags, apps, properties, addresses, companies, ownership, and a from/to date. You can also choose between daily and monthly grouping. Adjust the filters as needed and click "Apply filters" to confirm your selection. Use the download icon above a chart to download the underlying data as a CSV file.
Example use case for Insights
You want to know how quickly issues are answered on average in two properties, to check whether one of them needs additional support. In the Issue management tab, first filter by the first property and note the value shown for "Avg. Time to First Response". Repeat the filter for the second property and compare the two average values.
