Required permissions
To create and manage tags, the "Tag Admin" permission is required. This can currently only be assigned by Allthings. If you need the permission, inform your responsible team administrator, who can request the permission from us.
Creating tags
- Open the Administration and click on "Tags".
- You will then see an overview of the existing tags that have been created for your company. In the top right, click on "Create tag".
- An input mask will appear where you can define the responsible company and the name of the tag. When choosing the name, it should be noted that it should be unique, meaningful and possibly chosen according to a certain system. This will make it easier for you and your employees to use the correct tag later.
- Select a company and a name and click on "Create" in the bottom right.
- After the tag is created, it initially has the same name for all languages and the channel settings are empty. If necessary, adjust the name for the respective language and select the channels that the tag should contain. The selection of channels can be made at the app, property, building or residential unit level.
You can then use the tag, for example, to assign permissions to team members. However, tags can also be helpful in other areas of the Cockpit.
Managing tags
It may be that after a tag is created, it needs to be modified or deleted at some point.
To do this, go back to the Administration and click on "Tags". In the overview that opens, now select the tag you want to edit.
Customizing tags
- Change the title in the languages German, English, and French
- Add and deselect channels.
Deleting tags
- Click on "Delete tag" in the bottom right.
- Then confirm the deletion by clicking on "Delete".
