Add a team member
To create a new team member in your company in the Cockpit, proceed as follows:

Navigate to the "Companies" menu item in the Cockpit.

Click on "New team member" in the top right.

Enter the name and email address.
- Through the selection "Belongs to an external company", you can assign the employee to a previously created company. This gives you the option to also manage external companies, such as craftsmen.

Click on "Next".
- In the next step, you can assign various permissions and assign channels or tags to the employee for which they receive the permissions.
- Click on "Create".
The new team member now appears in the overview and can be managed. You can manage user details and permissions at any time. The invitation to register is sent separately.
Profile management
As a Team Admin, you can edit the profiles of all team members. This includes:
- Editing of email addresses, phone numbers, and language settings.
- Management of profile pictures.
- Setting absences.
- Sending the "reset password" email.
How to manage the profiles of team members:

Open the company of the employee

In the overview of all team members, open the profile of the corresponding team member. You can also use the search function for this.
Note: If you have given team members permissions for issue management, you can decide whether they are informed about new tickets by email. To do this, you only need to check the box next to "Receives email notification for new tickets.".
Edit or remove existing permissions
- Open the company of the employee
- Open the profile of the corresponding team member in the overview of all team members. You can also use the search function for this.
- In the "Permissions" tab, you will see all currently assigned permissions.
- If a channel is already selected, you can directly add various permissions for the corresponding channel via the input field "Add permissions".
- If you want to add a new channel with new permissions, press the "+" and first select the channel, channels or a tag for which the permissions should apply. In the next step, you select the corresponding permission(s).
Of course, you can also remove permissions from an employee at any time. To do this, simply click on the small "trash can icon" to the right of the corresponding permission.
Permissions
For each Cockpit function, you can assign different permissions. When assigning permissions, you can also use predefined permission packages:
- Standard user: With this preset, the team member receives all permissions that are necessary for daily tasks, e.g., for issue management, the communication center, or for info articles.
- Standard administrator: This includes all permissions of the standard user as well as additional permissions for administrative tasks such as team management or app settings.
- External user: You can only select this preset if you have already created external service providers. This permission only covers the use of the Service Center as an external service provider.
- None (custom permissions): Here you can individually assign permissions to team members.
