The app is designed for people who live or work in your area – people you might also meet in everyday life. A trusting exchange and respectful interactions form the basis of this digital neighborhood.
Communication with the property management
To ensure your property management always knows who they are corresponding with, you are required to provide your full real name when registering. This offers the following advantages:
- Clarity and transparency: Requests you send to the property management (e.g., via the Issue management) are always submitted under your real name. This enables fast and targeted processing.
- Efficient administration: Your property management can assign requests more quickly, as your name is directly linked to your unit or contract.
Use of an ERP system by the property management
Many property managements use an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in combination with the app to optimize their processes. For this, it is essential that your data is correct and unambiguous:
- Linking of data: Your name is used in the ERP system to clearly assign requests, documents, and interactions.
- Legal certainty: Documentation (such as requests or agreements) is archived in the system and must be legally and correctly assigned to your name.
- Error prevention: Incorrect or incomplete information can lead to misunderstandings or delays in processing your requests.
Data changes with an active ERP interface
When an ERP interface is used, the app displays the data exactly as it was imported from the property management's system. If your personal data (email address, name, phone number) changes, this adjustment must initially be made in the property management's ERP system. The updated data will then be transferred to the app.
Email changes: If the property management adjusts your email address in the ERP system, you will receive a notification at your new email address. You must confirm this change in the app. If you do not agree with the change, please contact your property management immediately to synchronize the data.
Use of a nickname for the neighborhood
If you do not want your real first and last name to be visible to other people in the app, you can provide an optional nickname. This nickname will be displayed in all areas of the app where you interact with the neighborhood (e.g., on the pinboard). This way, you protect your privacy and can still actively participate.
