What to consider for seamless addressability of residents?
In order for you to benefit from seamless addressability of residents, it is important that you import your residents' data into our platform. During the preparation phase, our implementation team will discuss with you in detail how you can import your residents' data via ERP interface or whether it is more worthwhile — for small projects — to import manually.
From a legal perspective, Allthings is considered a data processor responsible for the lawful and secure processing of data. You can find out more about our security standards here.
As a data controller, our client holds responsibility over the resident data. Please ensure that no data imports or invitations to our platform are made without the residents' consent or information. We are happy to provide recommendations on how to proceed if requested. Our implementation team can also provide you with a template upon request.
What if your residents don't want to be notified by email?
Your residents own all rights to their data. This means, for example, that if they have registered on the Allthings platform, they can unsubscribe at any time.
In addition, if they do not want to continue receiving email notifications, there must be a way for them to unsubscribe. In the case of non-transactional notifications, residents always have the option to unsubscribe themselves, since this notification was not triggered by them.
Residents can find the unsubscribe function either in the app settings or in the respective email notification.
Communications from the property management marked as important, and app invitations, are excluded from this.
