Below you will find an overview of the benefits that seamless addressability of residents brings to the property management.
Invitation via resident management or via master data
The invitation process hasn't changed. It's still very easy to invite your residents to the app.
Whether or not a resident registers no longer plays a decisive role for you: once invited, they are shown directly as an addressable person in Cockpit, so you can, for example, enter a ticket directly or inform them by email about an important pinboard post.
Assigning tickets in issue management
Tickets can be created for addressable people regardless of whether registration has already taken place. So if you have a resident on the phone, you can enter a ticket directly and then process it or assign it to the responsible service provider.

Registration codes
Registration codes have no expiration date — they can still be used several months later.
Adjustments to resident data in resident management
As soon as the email address is adjusted in the respective ERP system, Allthings receives the update and the registration code is sent to the new email address. The affected person is informed via their old address. Once they accept the invitation, they set a password and can then use it to log in to the app.
Important:
If there is an existing interface to an ERP system, resident data (name, email address, phone number) can no longer be adjusted directly in Allthings Cockpit. This change must be made in the ERP system and is automatically transferred to Allthings Cockpit with the next import.
Alias email
Another way of communicating with a future resident is the alias email feature.
This allows the property management to already create tickets in issue management for a person of whom only the name has been imported so far.

More about creating alias users:
Allthings automatically creates a so-called alias person, which can also be found in master data. As soon as the resident data is updated and the person has registered, their ticket history is transferred and becomes visible to them in the app.
You can turn the alias email feature on or off per company: open Companies, select the relevant company, and enable or disable the Enable alias email feature option under Invitation settings on the Data management tab.
