Required Permissions
To use the booking function in the Cockpit, you need the permission "Bookable Asset Admin" to offer new objects, edit or delete existing ones, and/or "Booking Agent" to view, confirm, or cancel booking requests. You can find more about permissions here.
Booking Management Functions
The booking function offers you the following options:
- Add Objects: Create new bookable objects such as common rooms or equipment.
- Manage Bookings: Review and process incoming booking or cancellation requests.
- Connect objects: The booking of multiple objects is linked, so that, for example, different prices can be processed for the same room.
- Process Payment via App: Tenants can conveniently pay by credit card in the app, or you can offer the option of booking on invoice.
- Integrate Locking Systems: The integration of digital locking systems allows rooms to be opened without complex key handovers.
Benefits of the Booking Function
By using the booking function, you benefit from:
- Efficient Resource Utilization: Tenants can independently view and book available resources.
- Time Savings: Automated booking processes reduce administrative effort.
- Transparency and Improved Tenant Satisfaction: All parties involved have a clear overview of available and booked resources.
Example of a Booking
What you make available as a bookable object is up to you – from meeting or event rooms, guest rooms, roof terraces, holiday apartments and parking spaces to items such as tools, ladders, chairs, tables, grills, projectors, pointers or moderation cases, much is possible.
A typical example of using the booking function is reserving a common room. Tenants can check the availability of the room via the app and make a booking request. As an administrator, you receive a notification and can confirm or reject the request accordingly. Payment can also be automatically processed with Stripe.
By effectively using the booking function in the Allthings Cockpit, you optimize the management of shared resources and improve the service for your tenants.
