Before you can use the Allthings app, you complete three short steps once: you register, confirm your email address, and then log in. This article guides you through each of these steps.
Login or registration – what is the difference?
The two terms are easily confused but mean two different things:
- Registration: the one-time process in which you create your account and set your password, language, and username.
- Login: the recurring process you use to sign in to the app at any time once your registration is complete.
Registration is only possible if your property management has already assigned you to a rental period or has provided you with a registration code.
Step 1: Registration
Depending on how your property management has set you up, there are two ways to register.
You have already been assigned to a rental period
In this case, you have usually already received an invitation email that lets you register directly. If you have not received an invitation email yet or can no longer find it:
- Tap Register and enter your email address.
- You will immediately receive an email that lets you confirm your registration and then set your password, language, and username.
You register with a registration code
Important: If your email address has not yet been stored for a rental period, you need a registration code from your property management.
- Tap Register and enter your name, email address, and a password.
- Then enter your registration code to complete the registration.
In both cases, the next step is to confirm your email address.
Step 2: Confirm your email address
To complete your registration, you must confirm your email address. Right after registering, you will receive an email with a confirmation link.
As long as your email address has not been confirmed, logging in will not take you into the app yet. Instead, you have the option to request the confirmation email again.
Didn't receive the confirmation email?
If the email does not arrive or you can no longer find it, request it again in just a few steps:
- Tap the Resend verification email button.
- You will receive a confirmation that the email has been sent. Then check your inbox – and, if necessary, your spam or junk folder as well.
- You can repeat this step as often as needed.
Once you have clicked the confirmation link in the email, your email address is verified and your registration is complete. After that, you can log in as usual.
If it still does not work, please contact your property management or submit a request.
Step 3: Login
Once your registration is complete, you can log in to the Allthings app at any time with your email address and chosen password.
If you ever forget your password, you can simply reset it.
