Invite other people to join the app
If you are already registered, it is very easy to invite other people to the app. Other people can be tenants and guests or, in the case of commercial use, employees and colleagues. If you send the invitation, the person you invited will receive an e-mail requesting that they register. All that person has to do is simply click on the green “Register” button, then they’re in!
Important to know: Anybody you invite this way can see everything that you see. Including your documents. We, therefore, ask that you please only invite people who should and are allowed to receive access to such documents.
Information: This feature is not provided in every app.
Sending an e-mail invitation
Follow the steps below to invite other tenants or guests to the app.
- Log in to the Tenant app.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Invitations to the application.
- Enter the E-mail address and the Name of the person.
Important: As with your own registration, please enter the correct name of the person. You can find out why this is essential here. After registration, the person can set an alias in order to remain anonymous when interacting with the community. - Select the Address to which you want to add the person.
- Click on Invite.
→ Once the invitation has been sent, a green window appears with the caption: Invitation was sent successfully.
Information on invited persons
Below the invitation screen, you will see all the people you have invited to the app, as well as the associated information such as:
- Name
- e-mail address
- Activation code (with expiration date)
- Time of the invitation
→ If a free activation code is available, this will also be displayed.
