Registration codes are used to enable residents to access the Allthings App, especially when an invitation by email is not sent or is not possible. These codes can be created individually for each unit and allow residents of the corresponding unit to register independently and gain access to the app.

Guidelines for creating secure registration codes
The security of your data and that of your residents has the highest priority. If you do not use our random generator to create registration codes, it is important to observe certain guidelines to minimize the security risk:
- Code length: Minimum of 6 characters
- Uniqueness: Each registration code should be unique for each construction project, property, or app.
- Avoidance of certain characters: Avoid using the characters: I (i), l (L), O (o), 0 (zero), 1 (one), unless they are used in words.
- Display of the code: When displaying the registration code, for example in emails or on websites, it is recommended to use a fixed-width font. This separates the code better from the rest of the text.
Note: Registration codes can consist of both words and combinations of letters and numbers. However, we recommend using the random generator in the Cockpit.
By following these guidelines, you ensure that the registration of your residents is secure and efficient.
