What is the best way to invite residents?
Whether residents register or not is no longer as important to you since the introduction of "Seamless Tenant Communication".
After a successful import or invitation, residents are directly displayed as addressable in the Allthings Cockpit. For example, you can directly create a ticket or inform residents via email about an important pinboard post.
The invitation process has not changed. It is still very easy to invite residents to the app. You have various options for this.
All residents who have been imported or invited via one of the following methods will be directly available to you as addressable in the Cockpit in the future:
- Import via interface to the ERP system
- Import via CSV file in the master data
- Manual invitation via resident management
- Manual invitation via master data
Special feature for ERP interfaces
As soon as an ERP interface is available, residents must be invited via resident management. Otherwise, manual invitation in the master data can lead to complications.
Note on contact data synchronization: Allthings imports the primary email address and phone number exactly as they are defined as standard ("Default") in your ERP system. Other numbers stored in the ERP system are added to the profile as additional communication methods without duplicates. Allthings does not apply any prioritization of its own (e.g., mobile number over landline). Therefore, please ensure that the standard markings are maintained correctly in your ERP system so that the communication channels reach the correct addresses upon invitation.
Automatic Invitation
If you have activated "Automatic Invitation", imported residents will be automatically invited every 4 hours. If desired, you can also manually select the language in which the invitations should be sent.

Select property-specific invitation language
If you want to select a specific invitation language for certain properties, you can do so in the master data.
- Navigate to "Master data".
- Select the desired properties.
- Open the processing mask.
- Navigate to the "Language" column.
- Select the desired language.
- Confirm the setting.
What is the best way to invite employees of a commercial tenant?
To assign employees of a commercial tenant and add them to the app, use the "Commercial Management" function.
Please note that you must have created a commercial entity for this. You can find out how to create a commercial entity here. Once you have added the commercial entity, you can invite their employees to the app.
