Content
Info articles are an effective way to provide residents with important information and answer frequently asked questions. By creating and managing these articles in a structured way, you can optimize the flow of information and reduce administrative effort.
Creating a New Info Article
To create a new info article, follow these steps:
Select a Language and Write the Content
Select the language in which the article should be written. If the article should be available in several languages, you can add further language versions in all app languages. Residents are then automatically shown the version in the language set in the app. When creating the content, you can use various formatting options. Also see our recommendations for effective info articles.
Define Visibility
You can determine who is provided with which info articles, since not all articles are equally interesting or relevant to all app users. Before you can assign a category to an info article, you must first define its visibility. Determine which target group can see your post by selecting the relevant channels:
- Manual selection: Select specific channels (e.g. apps, properties, buildings, or individual units) for which the post should be visible.
- Selection with tags: After selecting the "Tags" tab, you can select the desired tags that contain the channels for which the post should be visible. You can select a tag at the tag level, or only individual properties, buildings, or units within a tag.
Assign a Category
Once you have defined visibility, assign the article to a suitable category or create a new one to make it easier to find. A sensible categorization helps residents find the information they need more quickly.
Add File Attachments
Add relevant files to supplement the article — for example images, PDF documents, office files, or videos.
Save and Publish the Article
Save the article. It is initially created as a draft and is not yet visible to residents. Only once you publish the saved article afterwards — using the same toggle you later use to hide it again (see "Hide an Article" below) — does it become visible to the selected target group.
Managing Info Articles
Besides creating info articles, ongoing management is also essential to keep them relevant and up to date.
Edit an Article
To update an existing article, select it from the list of info articles and click "Edit". Make the desired changes and save them.
Delete an Article
If an article should be removed, select it and click "Delete". Confirm the action to permanently remove the article.
Hide an Article
If an article should be temporarily hidden, you can hide it. To do so, select the article and click "Hide article". This is useful if an article needs to be revised or is temporarily no longer up to date.
Copy an Article to Other Channels
To make an article available to further user groups, you can copy it and adjust its visibility accordingly. Select the article, click "Copy", and define the new visibility settings. This function makes it easy to provide content efficiently to different target groups.
By carefully creating and managing info articles, you ensure that your residents are always provided with current and relevant information.
