Info articles are an effective means of providing tenants with important information and answering frequently asked questions. By structured creation and management of these articles, you can optimize the flow of information and reduce administrative effort.
Creating a new info article
To create a new info article, follow these steps:
Select language and write content
Select the language in which the article is to be written. If the article is to be available in multiple languages, you can add additional language versions in all app languages. The tenant will then automatically see the version in the language set in the app. When creating the content, you can use the various formatting options. Assign category
Assign the article to a suitable category or create a new one to make it easier to find. A sensible categorization helps tenants find the information they need more quickly.
Add file attachments
Add relevant files or images to supplement the article. These can be, for example, PDF documents, images, or other useful resources.
Define visibility
You can determine who gets which info articles. Not all articles are equally interesting or relevant for all app users. Therefore, before you can finally save and publish your info article in the app, you must define the visibility. You can specify which target audience can see your post by selecting the corresponding channels:
- Manual selection: Select specific channels (e.g., apps, properties, buildings, or individual residential units) for which the post should be visible.
- Selection with tags: After selecting the "Tags" tab, you can select the desired tags that contain the channels for which the pinboard post should be visible. You can select a tag at the tag level or only individual properties, buildings, or residential units of a tag.
Save and publish article
Finally, you can publish the post directly or save it as a draft and define the publication for a later time.
Managing info articles
In addition to creation, the continuous management of info articles is also essential to ensure their timeliness and relevance.
Edit article
To update an existing article, select it from the list of info articles and click "Edit". Make the desired changes and save them.
Delete article
If an article is to be removed, select it and click "Delete". Confirm the process to permanently remove the article.
Hide article
If an article should not be visible temporarily, you can hide it. To do this, select the article and click "Hide article". This is useful if an article needs to be revised or is temporarily no longer up-to-date.
Copy article for other channels
To make an article available to other user groups, you can copy it and adjust the visibility accordingly. Select the article, click "Copy" and define the new visibility settings. This function makes it easy to efficiently provide content for different target groups.
