Introduction
In the Cockpit, you can export all existing core data of your platform – including information on properties, buildings, units, tenancies and roles – as a CSV file. This export is used for analysis, archiving or further processing in other systems.
Important: To export core data, you need the corresponding permission in the Cockpit (Master Data Admin).
Export core data
-
Open the Core data section in the Cockpit.
-
In the top right corner, click on Export data.
-
A selection window will open where you can see all the apps for which you have core data permissions.
-
Select one or more apps whose core data you want to export.
(Tip: To download data from a single app, select only that one.) -
Click on OK.
-
The export will start automatically and be processed in the background.
Where can I find the exported data?
After you have clicked on the corresponding button, an information bar in the lower part of the screen will show you that the request was successful and the data will soon be available in your download center.
You can find the download center in your user profile under "My exports". Here the link to the export is available for 24 hours. After that, it is deleted for security reasons.
You will be notified by an email notification about the availability of your export.
Notes on using the file
-
The exported CSV file contains the complete core data structure – including property assignment, buildings, units, tenancies, and assigned people with roles.
-
It is suitable as a basis for data reconciliation, migrations, or for further processing in Excel.
-
When opening, make sure that the file format is correctly recognized as CSV (separator: semicolon or comma, depending on regional settings).
