Introduction
The Core data function in the Allthings Cockpit enables the central management of your real estate objects. Here you define the basic information for properties, buildings and units – the foundation for request management, the communication center, bookings and many other functions.
Core data is available in two views: the Table view and the Tree view. We recommend using the Table view, as it is continuously being developed. The Help Center articles therefore exclusively describe the Table view.

Core data functions
- Manage properties, buildings and units: Create and maintain the hierarchical object structure as the foundation for all other Cockpit functions.
- Inline editing: Edit individual entries directly in the table without switching between pages.
- Bulk editing: Select multiple objects at once and edit shared fields in a single step.
- Import and export: Upload core data via CSV file or export all data for external processing.
- Status and period management: Control activation and archiving dates for each object, as well as rental and ownership periods for units.
- Tag assignment: Core data forms the basis for tags that control visibility and access rights in the app.
Use case example
A team member adds a new property with several buildings and units. In core data, they create the structure, set up rental periods and invite the residents by email. Thanks to correct core data maintenance, requests, documents and bookings can then automatically be assigned to the correct unit.
