Carvelo is the Swiss sharing platform for electric cargo bikes (e-cargo bikes), offering a practical and sustainable transport solution for everyday use.
Through the Allthings app, residents can quickly and easily access the service and book a Carvelo nearby.
How it works
The Carvelo feature opens the Carvelo booking platform directly in the Allthings app.
On the platform, residents can:
- View available e-cargo bikes in their area
- Choose booking time slots
- Reserve and pay online
- Access location and pickup instructions
The service is flexible, simple, and ideal for urban living – for shopping, transporting children, or leisure trips.

Access and usage
Carvelo is available as a feature in your Allthings app. The feature opens the Carvelo booking platform. There, you register once and can then book available vehicles. The Carvelo is picked up from and returned to a designated "host" (e.g. a café, store, or housing project).
Steps to access the service:
- Log in to the Allthings app.
- Select the Carvelo feature.
- Install the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- You can now view and book vehicles at your location.

Setup and activation
- The feature is set up by the Allthings team.

- The visibility can be managed using tags or channels – e.g. only for buildings with access to a Carvelo location.

- The integration effort is minimal – only the weblink is embedded.
- All management, booking, payment, and vehicle access are handled entirely through the Carvelo platform.
- There is no administrative effort required in the Cockpit or via Allthings.
