Introduction
Ecco2 offers smart energy efficiency solutions for buildings through the continuous collection and analysis of indoor climate data. Sensors installed in the property collect temperature, humidity and energy consumption data. Residents can view this information directly in the Allthings app – easily, clearly and up to date.
How it works
The integration is done via an iFrame feature that embeds the current indoor climate display from Ecco2. When the feature is opened, Allthings automatically shows the matching live view for the person's unit.

Access and usage
- Open the Ecco2 feature in your Allthings app.
- The app immediately displays the current sensor values for your unit – no login or configuration required.
- The data comes from anonymized sensor points in your apartment or building.
- If the view does not load automatically, a link appears after a few seconds that lets you open the view directly.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to log in?
→ No, the connection is automatic via your Allthings app.
I see the message "Service not yet available". Why?
→ The feature is only available from the start of your tenancy. The start date is shown in the message.
I see the message "No link has been provided for this unit". What should I do?
→ No sensor assignment has been set up for your unit yet. Please contact your property management.
How up to date is the data?
→ The sensors regularly update their values; the display is almost real-time.
Can I change any settings?
→ No, the view is preconfigured and is for informational purposes only.
Information for property management
Setup and activation
- The solution is set up as an iFrame feature in the Allthings Cockpit. Allthings takes care of the setup via a connector.
- The assignment is made per unit: during setup, the matching Ecco2 sensor location is stored for each unit. This way, residents only see the data of their own unit.
- The view is only loaded for persons with an active tenancy in the unit.
- The name, color, icon and display order of the feature can be customized in the Cockpit.
Management and control
- Data display is fully managed by Ecco2 – Allthings only provides the interface.
- No ongoing management or configuration by the property management is required.
- Visibility of the feature can be controlled via tags or channels.
Introduction to residents
- Inform residents about the new indoor climate feature via the pinboard or a message.
- Highlight the benefits: more transparency, conscious heating behavior, digital control over the indoor climate.
- If needed, provide a brief explanation of the data sources.
