Features and benefits
The integration of the Ernst Schweizer parcel box in Allthings offers numerous advantages for both property management and residents.
- Automation: Apartments and residents are automatically created by Allthings in the Ernst Schweizer system, and residents are removed again after moving out. Changes are transferred automatically at regular intervals.
- Parcel acceptance: Parcels can be deposited in the parcel box even when residents are absent.
- Collection: Residents collect their parcels with their personal PIN code, which they set in the Allthings app.
- Delivery overview: In the app, residents see their deliveries (including tracking number and size) and the system status of the parcel box.
- Notifications: Residents are notified by email about newly arrived parcels. The email address stored in Allthings is used for this.
Use for residents
Residents use the parcel box via the "Ernst Schweizer" feature in the Allthings app to receive and collect parcels. You can change your PIN code in the app at any time.
- Information about the parcel box can be found in the Allthings app.
- You can change your personal PIN code (four to six digits, a number between 1000 and 999999) in the Allthings app under "PIN management". If you have not changed the code before using the service for the first time, you will be prompted to do so at the box for security reasons.
- PIN management and the delivery overview are available from the start of your tenancy.
Information for property management
Setup and activation
- Registration in the Allthings app: Before residents can use the box, they must register successfully in the Allthings app.
- PIN: To use the box, residents must set their desired PIN in the app.
Administration and control
- The parcel box is installed and maintained by Ernst Schweizer AG or its partners.
- Due to the integration, no separate administration effort is required on the part of property management.
Introduction for residents
- Inform your residents about the new parcel box solution via the pinboard or a welcome message.
- Emphasize: 24/7 delivery, no waiting for the parcel service.
- If required, instructions or QR codes for using the parcel box can be displayed on site.
